Learn moreWhy do San Diego homeowners choose Pest Pros San Diego?
San Diego's climate and housing stock drive distinct pest patterns. Argentine ants form supercolonies across whole neighborhoods. Drywood termites target original wood framing in older coastal homes. Roof rats exploit palm trees and canyon access. Black and brown widows harbor in stucco overhangs. We know the patterns, the species, and the right treatment protocol for each one.
- SPCB licensed, fully insured. California Structural Pest Control Board Branch 2 and 3 licensing. Full general liability and workers' comp coverage.
- Family-safe, pet-safe treatments. EPA-registered products applied to perimeters and harborage, not living surfaces. Safe re-entry in 30–60 minutes.
- Same-day urgent service. Active problems like wasp nests near doorways or rodent sightings get same-day or next-day response.
- Re-treatment included. If pests return between quarterly visits, we re-treat at no extra charge. That's the whole point of recurring service.

What homeowners across the county say
Argentine ant trail came back stronger every time we sprayed. Pest Pros explained why — repellent sprays trigger budding — and used a non-repellent perimeter treatment instead. Trail was visibly thinner in three days, gone in a week. Quarterly service since and we don't see ants anymore.
Buying a 1968 home and the lender required a WDO inspection in 5 days. Pest Pros came out the next morning, did a thorough crawlspace inspection, found localized drywood activity in one eave, and had the report in escrow by end of week. Section 1 cleared after local treatment — saved the closing.
Heard scratching in the attic for a month. Pest Pros found three roof-rat entry points around the eaves — all sealed with steel mesh and caulk — and set traps in the attic. Activity stopped within a week. They came back free at 14 days to confirm no new activity. No upsell.
Found a brown widow on a kid's bike in the garage. Called Pest Pros that morning, they came out same-day, treated the garage and outdoor storage, and removed three more widows we hadn't seen. Quarterly service since. Garage stays clear.
Brought bed bugs home from a hotel trip, didn't realize until two weeks in. Pest Pros confirmed the ID, recommended single-room heat treatment over chemical because we wanted it done in one visit. One day of treatment, follow-up at two weeks confirmed clean. Discreet vehicle, professional from start to finish.
Yellow jacket nest in the eaves directly above our front door — kids couldn't use the entrance. Same-day urgent service. Came suited up, dust applied, nest dead within 24 hours. Clean removal. Honest about which wasp it was and why dust worked better than spray for that nest location.

All FAQsWhat areas in San Diego County do you service?
We cover all 47 cities in San Diego County — coastal communities like Encinitas, Carlsbad, Coronado, and La Jolla, inland cities like San Marcos, Escondido, and Poway, East County cities like El Cajon, La Mesa, and Santee, South Bay areas including Chula Vista and National City, and the backcountry from Julian to Borrego Springs. Same SPCB-licensed technicians everywhere.
Are your treatments safe for kids and pets?
Yes. We use EPA-registered products applied at label rates to perimeters and harborage areas, not living surfaces. Once treated surfaces are dry (typically 30–60 minutes), areas are safe for re-entry. We walk you through where products are placed before we start, and we adjust the product mix in cat-owner households since cats are more sensitive than dogs to certain pyrethroids.
How does your pricing work?
General pest control runs $149–$249 for an initial visit and $89–$149 per quarterly maintenance visit, size-dependent. Targeted one-time jobs (ants, spiders, wasps, rodents) run $149–$299. Termite treatment is quoted after a free inspection because species and scope drive the price. No diagnostic fees, no hidden charges — you get the full price before we schedule.
Are you licensed for termite work?
Yes. We hold California Structural Pest Control Board licensing for Branch 2 (general pest) and Branch 3 (termites and other wood-destroying organisms). Whole-structure fumigation requires Branch 1 licensing — when that's the right call we coordinate with licensed Branch 1 partners while staying involved start to finish.
How fast can you get out to me?
Same-day urgent service is typically available for active problems like wasp nests near doorways or rodent sightings. For routine inspections and quarterly service, we usually schedule within 1–3 business days. Call before noon Monday through Saturday and we can often be there that afternoon for urgent calls.
